This Privacy Policy explains what information FanVault collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

1. Information We Collect

• Creators: name, username, email, password (encrypted), bio, profile photos, UPI ID, Instagram handle, and uploaded content.
• Fans: email address and name, provided at the time of subscribing, used to verify and restore access to purchased content.
• Usage data: basic visit and interaction data (e.g. page views, likes) used to run features like live stats — this is not sold or shared with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage accounts, and process subscription payments.
• To verify Creator identity and Instagram ownership before approving an account.
• To send transactional emails: OTP verification codes, payment confirmations, and account approval notices.
• To pay Creators via their registered UPI ID.
• To respond to support requests and content reports.

3. Payment Information

All payments are processed by Razorpay. FanVault does not receive or store your card, UPI transaction PIN, or full banking details — Razorpay handles this in compliance with RBI and PCI-DSS standards.

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell personal data to advertisers or any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Data Security

Passwords are encrypted before storage. Access to paid content is protected by verified, time-limited tokens rather than plain email lookups. Admin access to the platform is protected separately from Creator accounts. That said, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as the account is active and as required for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes thereafter. Reports and moderation records may be retained longer where relevant to safety investigations.

7. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support. Note that some information (e.g. transaction records) may need to be retained for legal or accounting compliance even after a deletion request.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember things like your login session, whether you've confirmed you're 18+, and your subscription access token on a given device.

9. Children's Privacy

FanVault is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that an underage individual has registered or is depicted in any content, the account and content will be removed immediately and reported as required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
